WALL OF FAME

To launch the annual Rome Film Festival, I came up with an interactive experiential event held at Rome Main Train Station, Roma Termini.

Inspired by the Hollywood Hall of Fame handprint walk, participants could enter a competition by simply placing their palms on an interactive screen.

Their personal details are automatically entered and a participation message is automatically fed to their FB page, together with their digital handprint and virtual ‘spot’ on the wall of fame. All this simply with a touch of a hand.

The mechanic uses Rfid technology, so the participants have previously registered via iPad/promoter and have their data embedded in a bracelet in real time.

The rfid chip in the bracelet then communicates wirelessly with the device installed behind the screen.
